FOX Sets Summer Schedules for 'So You Think You Can Dance' Season 14, 'MasterChef' Season 8 and More

The network has set summer 2017 premiere dates for its shows which include Andy Cohen's 'Love Connection' reboot, 'Beat Shazam' and 'Superhuman'.

AceShowbiz - FOX has announced summer 2017 premiere dates for some of its new unscripted as well as returning series. Among the line-up are long-running "So You Think You Can Dance" and "MasterChef". The network also sets premiere dates for new shows such as music show "Beat Shazam" and Andy Cohen's new iteration on "Love Connection".

FOX's summer will begin on Thursday, May 25 which will see the premieres of "Love Connection" and "Beat Shazam". "Love Connection", the reboot of the '80 dating show with Chuck Woolery, is now hosted by Cohen and will premiere at 8 P.M. Meanwhile, Jamie Foxx will host "Beat Shazam" at 9 P.M. slot. Based on the Shazam app, the show will pit teams against each other to guess hit songs of all time.

"MasterChef" and Gordon Ramsay's "The F word" will premiere back to back on Wednesday, May 31. "MasterChef" will return for season 8 at 8 P.M., featuring Food Network celebrity chef Aaron Sanchez and returning judge Christina Rosi. Ramsay's newest cooking competition, "The F Word", is set to debut later at 9 P.M. Based on his hit U.K. show, each hourlong episode puts teams of foodie families and friends against each other.

June will feature the premiere of "American Grit", "So You Think You Can Dance" and "Superhuman". "American Grit" is slated to premiere its sophomore season on Sunday, June 11 at 9 P.M. Meanwhile, the dancing competition show will return for season 14 on Monday, June 12 at 8 P.M. Cat Deeley will return as the host while Mary Murphy, Nigel Lythgoe and the third yet-to-be-announced judge will sit on the judges panel.

Following "SYTYCD", new reality show "Superhuman" is scheduled to debut on Monday, June 12 at 9 P.M. Kal Penn will serve as the host of the show, which will feature contestants displaying their extraordinary skills in various fields to win a $50,000 grand prize.

In addition to the summer premiere dates of the series, FOX announces that 2017 Miss USA will air live on the network on Sunday, May 14 at 7 P.M.
