"" may feature the most amazing sequence in the franchise ever. During an interview with Collider at SXSW, producer David Ellison revealed that actually spent a year training for a sequence in the sixth "Mission: Impossible" movie series. Ellison called it "the most impressive" thing Cruise had done in the movie.

"What Tom is doing in this movie I believe will top anything that's come before," said Ellison. "It is absolutely unbelievable-he's been training for a year. It is going to be, I believe, the most impressive and unbelievable thing that Tom Cruise has done in a movie, and he has been working on it since right after 'Rogue Nation' came out. It's gonna be mind-blowing," he added.

Ellison later explained the reason behind Cruise's willingness to do the extensive training and many practical stunts by himself. "It all comes from the best place. It is all about entertaining an audience," said Ellison.

He then alluded to several stunts Cruise did in the past, which included hanging from a skyscrapper in "" and hanging outside a plane while it took off from the runway in "". "Tom's entire mantra for hanging on the side of the Burj Khalifa or the A380 or literally holding your breath for six minutes underwater to do the Taurus sequence is, in a world of massive [visual] effects, he said the audience can tell when it's you on a green screen or when you'e actually doing it live," explained Ellison.

Ellison revealed that the filming of "Mission: Impossible 6" would begin on April 10 in Paris, London and New Zealand. will reprise her role as Isla Faust in the movie, while has been added to the cast along with .

Plot detail is still kept under wraps, but director Christopher McQuarrie said that "Mission: Impossible 6" would feature "very different" Ethan Hunt and would explore his character way more deeply than the previous movies did.

"Mission: Impossible 6" is set to hit U.S. theaters on July 27, 2018.
