AceShowbiz - Snoop Dogg-Donald Trump drama is nowhere near over. Instead of responding to the feud, Snoop Dogg chose to release a new music video for "Super Crip".
"Super Crip" is one of the tracks off Snoop's album, COOLAID, which was released in July 2016. In the comic-book-themed video, there are two Snoops. One is the real-life Snoop while the other is a mini version of the "Kush Ups" rapper. The two rap together throughout the video.
In the opening of the video, Snoop and Lil Snoop are having a deep conversation about something. "Man, I ain't tryna f**k all this s**t off. If I bang on every n***a that crosses me, offends me, steals from me, then I'mma end up just like every n***a we know in this game-- dead or in jail," says the real Snoop. "So you'd be willing to jeopardize all of this to be like everyone else?"
"I'll never be everyone else-- because I'm not," Lil Snoop argues. "And that's what the f**k you missed."
The music video producer, Just Blaze, has worked with Snoop a couple of times, and he was impressed with the veteran rapper. "With me, I just like to be involved in a project whether it directly benefits me or not," he said. "So if somebody has a great song and I have ideas and I feel like I can make the song better, I'm going to offer those ideas. But I think that's kind of all been part of me and [Snoop] having a better working relationship."
He added, "The final scope and definition of the project remains to be seen, but I'm just excited. I've always been a Snoop fan since 'Doggystyle' and 'The Chronic', so to get a chance to work with him a little more extensively than just, 'Here's a beat,' has been great."
Snoop Dogg is reportedly going to release a new album in May this year.
