The CW has unveiled a special poster designed for next week's highly-anticipated musical crossover where the two DC heroes are trapped in an alternative reality.

AceShowbiz - A special poster for the upcoming musical crossover between "The Flash" and "Supergirl" has surfaced online. The CW shared the poster for "The Flash" next week episode on its official Twitter account on Friday, March 17.

The newly-released poster features Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist striking a pose in 1920s-inspired costumes. Gustin's Barry looks dapper in a suit, while Benoist's Kara looks equally stunning in a navy-colored sleeveless gown with a pair of velvet gloves in matching color.

The special episodes will follow Kara and Barry as they are trapped in an alternative reality by villainous Music Meister (Darren Criss). Without their superpowers, the only way to escape is by teaming up and following the Meister's script which includes singing and dancing.

"The Flash"/"Supergirl" musical crossover will begin with "Supergirl" season 2 episode, titled "Star-Crossed", on Monday, March 20 at 8 P.M. Directed by John Medlen, the episode features a new villain (guest star Teri Hatcher) who comes to National City and puts Supergirl on high alert. Meanwhile, Winn's (Jeremy Jordan) girlfriend, Lyra (guest star Tamzin Merchant), gets Winn in trouble with the law. Maggie (guest star Floriana Lima) attempts to help Winn but old loyalties get in the way. The Music Meister attacks Supergirl.

The crossover will continue with "The Flash" season 3 episode, titled "Duet", on Tuesday, March 21 at 8 P.M. The episode, where the singing starts, is directed by Dermott Downs. It follows Barry and team who are surprised when Mon-El (guest star Chris Wood) and Hank Henshaw (guest star David Harewood) arrive on their Earth carrying a comatose Supergirl who was whammied by the Music Meister.

Unable to wake her up, they turn to Team Flash to save her. However, the Music Meister surprises The Flash and puts him in a similar coma, one that Team Flash can't cure. Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end.

Along with the poster, a new banner for "The Flash" special episode has also been released.
