FX's 'Legion' Gets Season 2 Renewal

The 'X-Men' spin-off starring Dan Stevens as Professor X's son is expected to return with a new season early next year.

AceShowbiz - "Legion" is officially ordered for season 2. FX announces the "X-Men" spin-off that revolves around Professor X's schizophrenic son David Haller (Dan Stevens) is expected to kick off the sophomore installment early next year.

"The first season of Legion was a stunning achievement," says FX's Presidents of Original Programming, Eric Schrier and Nick Grad. "More than a new series, Legion is a wholly original take on the super hero genre. Our thanks to Noah Hawley for taking the creative risks and shattering expectations. It's a privilege to work again with Noah, his producing partners, the outstanding cast and our partners at Marvel Television on another season of Legion."
