Before becoming Princess of Corona, Rapunzel needs to learn about the world with the help of Eugene and her handmaiden Cassandra as they start their full of hair adventure.

AceShowbiz - A new trailer of the upcoming "Tangled: The Series", which gets an early sophomore season renewal, has been dropped. The video sees Rapunzel's journey to get to know the world and herself better before she is ready to be Princess of Corona.

Rapunzel's mother, Queen Arianna, shows her a book with a French quote on it. Rapunzel asks, "Plus est en vous?" to which her mother answers, "It means 'There is more in you.' " And that's how the journey begins. With the help of her tough handmaiden Cassandra and Eugene (formerly known as Flynn Rider), Rapunzel explores the world outside the door.

Rapunzel and Cassandra are seen entering a mysterious dark place when a purple ball suddenly comes out and bursts into smoke, causing the two cough. In the middle of their journey, they meet a young boy whom Cassandra forces to help them. "We need your help, but let me make something clear. What happens here, stays here," Cassandra threatens. She continues saying while grabbing the poor boy by the collar, "You got it?" The teaser also features Rapunzel being tied to a board while Eugene, Cassandra and the young boy are trying to unleash her.

Besides the dangerous adventures, the series seemingly will offer clumsy sides of the characters, just like how Rapunzel is misusing the word "boo" and when Eugene is planning to be a Royal Guard. "It makes total sense, right?" he excitedly responds when Rapunzel doubts his idea. However, just like what Rapunzel has expected, becoming a Royal Guard is not as easy as Eugene's thought.

"Tangled: The Series" will take place between the 2010 theatrical feature "Tangled" and the short film "Tangled Ever After" (2012). The series will see the returns of Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi as the voices of Rapunzel and Eugene respectively. Also lending their voices to the animated series are Julie Bowen as Queen Arianna, Eden Espinosa as Cassandra, Jeff Ross as Hook Hand's brother Hook Foot and Richard Kind as Uncle Monty.

Chris Sonnenburg and Shane Prigmore develop the series, while Disney Television Animation produces. Sonnenburg will also serve as executive producer and supervising director. Benjamin Balisteri will be the supervising producer with Kevin Kliesch composing the music scores.

"Tangled: The Series" is scheduled to debut at 7:30 P.M. on Friday, March 24, just two weeks after Disney Channel airs its original movie "Tangled Before Ever After" on Friday, March 10.
