The 'Shape of You' hitmaker announces on Twitter he will be hitting the road to promote his latest album 'Divide'.

AceShowbiz - Ed Sheeran is back on the road to promote his latest album "Divide (division sign)". Prior to his appearance on NBC's "Today" on Wednesday, March 8, he took to Twitter to announce his 2017 North American tour dates.

"Coming to North American this summer, go here https://atlanti.cr/na-tour for details on the fan pre-sale that starts this Mon 13th March," Ed wrote alongside a promotion video for his upcoming tour. He will play 48 dates starting this summer.

Ed's North American tour will begin on June 29 at the Spring Center in Kansas City, Mo. and will wrap on October 6 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. A special pre-sale for fans begins at 10 A.M. ET March 13 before tickets go on sale on March 17.

"Divide" broke Spotify records after gaining 56,727,861 streams in its first 24 hours. Early tracking estimates indicate Ed's third studio album will sell between 400,000-450,000 copies, ensuring a No. 1 debut on Billboard 200.
