The 'New Americana' hitmaker reveals that the new album will be titled 'Hopeless Fountain Kingdom' and is expected to hit the shelves in June.

AceShowbiz - Halsey is ready to release her sophomore album. The 22-year-old singer announced on Tuesday afternoon, March 7 that the album would hit the shelves in June and would be titled "Hopeless Fountain Kingdom". Her label also confirmed the news with a press release and emphasized that the title would be written in lower case.

Halsey shared the exciting news on Twitter, writing, "I'm pleased to announce my upcoming album, this June, is titled: 'hopeless fountain kingdom'," along with a sultry topless photo of herself. The photo sees the singer standing sideways against a cloudy, dark background. She looks down over her shoulder while holding a rose to her face.

When asked by a fan if the photo would be for the cover art of her new record, she responded, "Nope! When I'm ready for you to have the album cover, I'm gonna make you find it." The new record serves as the follow-up to Halsey's debut album "Badlands", which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum.

Halsey has been teasing her new album for a while now. Recently, she invited 100 lucky fans in London to hear her four brand new songs off the record in a church. She took to Twitter to share some photos of the experience, showing listeners wearing headphones and crying at the new tracks.

Previously, Halsey noted that her next album would be a step in a brand new direction. "I can't believe all the amazing people I've met and stories I've heard and tears I've shed. 'Badlands' will always be my baby, my love," so she wrote on Twitter. "But there are big things coming, and I didn't hold anything back."
