The Toronto rapper won big with seven trophies, while the electronic DJ duo trailed closely behind with five awards including New Artist of the Year.

AceShowbiz - Drake won big at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards. The Toronto rapper, who led the pack of the nominees with a whopping 12 nods, took home seven trophies although he didn't attend the show. Drizzy won Hip-Hop Artist of the Year for two consecutive years, beating out the likes of Desiigner, DJ Khaled, Future and J. Cole.
Drake also walked away with Hip-Hop Album of the Year for his fourth studio album "Views", which received multiple nominations at the 59th Grammy Awards. In addition, he won R&B Song of the Year and Best Collaboration for his chart-topping single "Work" featuring Rihanna as well as Hip-Hop Song of the Year for "One Dance" featuring Wizkid and Kyla.
The Chainsmokers trailed closely behind Drake with five awards in categories like New Artist of the Year, Best New Pop Artist and Dance Song of the Year for "Closer" featuring Halsey. "We won't take this award lightly. Best New Artist takes a lot of responsibility, we won't let you guys down," the group's Drew Taggart said during his acceptance speech. He also gave supports to his fans who were making music at homes.
Twenty One Pilots and Adele were other acts who took home multiple awards. The alternative hip-hop duo bagged four trophies including Duo/Group of the Year and Alternative Rock Artist of the Year, while the British songstress nabbed two big prizes of the night including Female Artist of the Year and Pop Album of the Year for "25".
The 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards was hosted by Ryan Seacrest at The Forum in Inglewood, California. The award-giving event was kicked off with a lively performance from Katy Perry, who took the stage to sing her latest single "Chained to the Rhythm" featuring Skip Marley. Other big artists who delivered stunning performances were Ed Sheeran, Big Sean, Noah Cyrus and Shawn Mendes among others.
