The 'Sex and the City' actress posts on Instagram a meme which reads, 'I couldn't help but wonder... had the Russian ambassador been meeting with everybody except me?'

AceShowbiz - Sarah Jessica Parker pokes fun at controversy surrounding Donald Trump's Administration and Attorney General Jeff Sessions. The actress posted on Instagram a meme of her "Sex and the City" character, Carrie Bradshaw, to joke about Sessions' alleged meetings with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak prior to the November 2016 election.

Parker's Bradshaw could be seen pondering at her laptop in the meme which read, "I couldn't help but wonder... had the Russian ambassador been meeting with everybody except me?" She then captioned it, "I had to. Don't know the provenance however whoever you are, thank you. X, sj."

For those who don't remember, in the sixth season of the dramedy, Parker's Bradshaw did have a relationship with a Russian artist named Aleksandr Petrovsky, who was portrayed by Mikhail Baryshnikov. That's why most of the people thinks that the "Sex and the City" meme feels so related to Sessions' Russia debacle.

The joke came after the attorney general denied meeting with the Russian ambassador during the course of presidential election to discuss the Trump campaign. "I have not met with any Russians at any time to discuss any political campaign. And those remarks are unbelievable to me and are false. And I don't have anything else to say about that," said Sessions.
