AceShowbiz - FOX continues hyping up the return of "Empire" by debuting a new promo for the show's season 3B. Lucious and Cookie's love-hate relationship still dominates the sneak peek, but it also unveils new scenes that hint Lucious is in danger.
Gluliana, portrayed by guest star Nia Long, is seen pointing a gun at the Lyon patriarch before he is featured lying in bed with some medical equipment attached to his body. Cookie is visiting him and her expression shows earnest sympathy.
In another scene, Cookie admits that she still has "feelings from him," probably referring to Lucious, because Angelo doesn't look thrilled to hear it. She, however, refuses to admit it in front of Lucious as she destroys everything in his apartment with a baseball bat.
"Empire" returns with the remainder of season 3 beginning Wednesday, March 22 at 9 P.M. ET on FOX. Demi Moore and Eva Longoria have been tapped to appear in the second half of the season.
