The 'Teenage Dream' hitmaker shares a 11-second snippet of her chanting lyrics that borrow some language of anti-Trump protest.

AceShowbiz - Just weeks after releasing "Chained to the Rhythm" featuring Skip Marley, Katy Perry already teased another track. Earlier this week, Perry took to Instagram Story to share an 11-second clip of her chanting to her possible new track.

The short clip previewed Perry's vocal with no music as she chanted, "I won't, no, I won't apologize. I will not, will not subscribe. Don't ask me, ask me to normalize." Many people assumed that Perry's upcoming single might be an anti-Trump track since she borrowed lines that were used to criticize Donald Trump during last year's presidential campaign.

Perry is an avid supporter of Trump's opponent, Hillary Clinton, and has been known for her vocal attitudes towards the new POTUS. Recently, Perry criticized Trump and U.K.'s Prime Minister Theresa May's close political relationship while performing at the 2017 BRIT Awards. The "Roar" singer depicted the two politicians as two huge skeletons which she brought onstage.

Perry's political view pretty much affected her musical style. In an interview with Mirror last month, Perry labeled her music as "purposeful pop," hinting that she might write more about social consciousness issue. "This was after the election and I was kind of depressed and, you know, I definitely didn't want to write a club banger," Perry explained.

The ex-girlfriend of Orlando Bloom continued, "I was like, 'how are we writing a club banger when the world is on fire?' It was a nice exercise of like writing a song that at first listen is a really fun song, but I guess the more you dive in to it, it has a different sub-text."
