New 'Justice League' Footage Features Aquaman Underwater

The video, which is posted by director Zack Snyder on his Twitter account, features Jason Momoa's Aquaman gliding effortlessly undersea.

AceShowbiz - "Justice League" director Zack Snyder has taken to his Twitter account to share new footage from editing bay. The footage, which was originally posted on Snyder's Vero account, features Jason Momoa's Aquaman underwater.

The half-man and half-Atlantean is featured gliding undersea in the footage, surrounded by sea corals. While the footage doesn't reveal much about Aquaman's role in the movie, fans are delighted to see him in harmony with his natural element. Prior to this, Aquaman appeared briefly in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". He was also featured in "Justice League" official Comic-Con teaser.

Besides starring in "Justice League", Momoa will return in "Aquaman" standalone movie which will be released in 2018. The movie will focus on Aquaman, who leads Atlantic Ocean and tries to gain his glory. Enters his half brother, Orm, who is as powerful as him and creates a hindrance that puts everything in havoc. Aquaman is obliged to prevent his evil half-brother from snatching his empire of high seas.

Other "Aquaman" cast members include Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson and Willem Dafoe. Heard will play Mera, Aquaman's love interest and The Queen of Atlantis, while Wilson will play Orm. Dafoe will portray Nuidis Vulko, Aquaman's science advisor.

Meanwhile, "Justice League" is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on November 17. The movie will feature Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Ezra Miller as The Flash, and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Dafoe will also appear in the movie as Nuidis Vulko.
