The 'Incorporated' actor is joining Stephen Moyer, Blair Redford and Jamie Chung to star in the Bryan Singer-directed 'X-Men' pilot.

AceShowbiz - "Reign" actor Sean Teale is set to star in FOX's "X-Men" pilot. The actor will portray Marcos Diaz, a passionate and strong-willed fighter who sometimes lets his emotions overrule reason. His alter ego, Eclipse, is a newly created mutant whose ability is to absorb and manipulate photons, Deadline has reported.

The potential "X-Men"-related series will focus on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins an underground network of mutant fugitives and must fight to survive.

Teale is joining previously-announced cast members Stephen Moyer, Blair Redford and Jamie Chung. Moyer will play the dad, Reed, an ambitious attorney who tries to balance the demands of his job at the DA's office with his responsibilities to his family. Redford will portray Sam, a strong-headed Native American leader of the underground network. Meanwhile, Chung will take the role of Clarice Fong, the female mutant who possesses the power of teleportation.

Bryan Singer will direct the potential "X-Men"-related series. He will also executive produce the project alongside Simon Kinberg, Lauren Shuler Donner, Marvel's Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory, while "Burn Notice" creator Matt Nix will serve as showrunner. The potential series is produced by 20th Century Fox Studio and Marvel Television.

Teale recently starred on Ben Affleck and Matt Damon-produced drama "Incorporated". His TV credits include Lifetime's miniseries "The Red Tent", British dramas "Mr. Selfridge" and "Skins", as well as "The Bible" and "Summer in Transylvania".
