'And what am I giving away? A character beloved by everybody returns. Get a f**king life!' the actor taunts the series' fans when asked about the flak he received for spoiling plot details.

AceShowbiz - Apparently, Ian McShane has not done slamming HBO's "Game of Thrones" fans who accused him of giving the plot away last year. McShane, who played Brother Ray in season 6 of the cult fantasy series, now wallops the fans once again when addressing the issue in a recent interview.

In an interview for an April edition of Empire Magazine, he was asked about the criticism he received last year for spoiling a major plot detail of the series' last season. The "Deadwood" actor said, "Can you believe it? 'Oh, you're giving it away.' " He continued, "Firstly, you love it and secondly, you'll have forgotten by the time it comes out. And what am I giving away? A character beloved by everybody returns. Get a f**king life."

"The show is huge but some fans seem to identify with it [too closely]," the "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" star added. "You want to say, 'Have you thought about your lifestyle? Maybe you should get out a little more,' " he told the publication.

Last year, McShane made similar remarks about the series' fans in an interview with The Telegraph. "You say the slightest thing and the internet goes ape," he told the newspaper. "I was accused of giving the plot away, but I just think get a f**king life." He also described the show as "only tits and dragons."

McShane generated internet buzz among "Game of Thrones" fans when he dished on details of his character during an appearance on BBC's "Breakfast" last March. "My character is an ex-warrior who has become a peacenik. So I have this group of peaceful, sort of like a cult, a peaceful tribe," he explained. Later, he added something which angered fans who hate spoilers, "I bring back a much loved character everybody thinks is dead." Apparently, the character he talked about was The Hound (Rory McCann), who was left dead by Arya Stark (Maisie Williams).

This whole situation reminds us of William Shatner's infamous comment on "Saturday Night Live" back in 1986. He mocked a "Star Trek" fan and told the crowd at a "Star Trek" convention to "get a life!"

McShane is returning to small screen on upcoming Starz series "American Gods", which premieres Sunday, April 30. Meanwhile, "Game of Thrones" is reportedly set to return to HBO this summer.
