The pregnant human-rights lawyer is stunning in a white strapless fitted sheath dress with ombre feathered bottom as she joins her husband George who is honored with a career award at the ceremony.

AceShowbiz - Pregnant Amal Clooney stepped out for the 42nd Cesar Awards in Paris on Friday, February 24. The 39-year-old international human-rights attorney supported her husband George Clooney who was presented with a career award at the French equivalent of the Academy Awards, but it was her look and her baby bump that stole the spotlight on the red carpet.

Amal looked stunning that night wearing a white custom Atelier Versace gown that featured ombred feathering, billowing out in a small train. Her growing baby bump was visible in the form-fitting dress. She accessorized with a white shrug, a matching clutch, dangling earring and a red lip, while her long dark hair was let loose in soft curls.

The mom-to-be, who speaks fluent French, talked to French reporters on the red carpet. "It is a great honor for us to be here. It's the first time we're in Paris together so it's a bit of a romantic weekend for us," she said.

Her man was dashing in a black Armani tuxedo and bow tie. He got a bit political when taking the stage to receive the honor. He thanked the crowd saying, "Merci, merci" several times. Excusing himself for his "horrible" French, he asked "The Artist" actor his "The Monuments Men" co-star Jean Dujardin who presented him with the Cesar d'Honneur to translate for him.

"As we stand here today the world is going through some pretty momentous changes, not all for the best," he said. "As citizens of the world we're going to have to work harder and harder not to let hate win." Dujardin then added on his own, "Donald Trump is a dangerous for the world."

Clooney agreed, adding, "The actions of this president have caused alarm and dismay amongst our allies abroad and given considerable comfort to our enemies. And whose fault is that? Not really his. He didn't create this situation of fear, he merely exploited it, and rather successfully."

George and Amal are expecting twins. The "Money Monster" star recently promised that he and his wife wouldn't go dangerous places during her pregnancy to be "much more responsible" for the babies. "I will not go to South Sudan anymore and or the Congo [and] Amal will no longer go to Iraq and she will avoid places where she knows she is not welcome," he told Paris Match. "Before, I did not care. I would even say that there was a pretty exciting side to going where no reporter had ever been."
