The 'East Los High' alum will play Ezekiel 'EZ' Reyes, the gifted son of a proud Latino family, whose American dream was snuffed out by cartel violence.

AceShowbiz - "Sons of Anarchy" spin-off "Mayans MC" has found its lead in JD Pardo ("Snitch", "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part II", "A Cinderella Story"). The actor will star as Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes, a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the California/Mexico border.

EZ is the gifted son of a proud Latino family, whose American dream was snuffed out by cartel violence. Now, his need for vengeance drives him toward a life he never intended and can never escape, Deadline has reported.

Pardo joins the previously-announced cast members Edward James Olmos, Clayton Cardenas and John Ortiz. Olmos will portray EZ's father Felipe Reyes and Cardenas will play Angel Reyes, EZ's older brother. Meanwhile, Ortiz will take the role of Esai "Taino" Osorio, President of Mayans MC for Santo Padre charter.

"Mayans MC" will mark Pardo's return as series regular after he previously starred as Jesus on Hulu's "East Los High" and as Raul Garcia on The CW's "The Messengers". Pardo's other TV credits include "Stalker", "Revolution", "CSI: NY", "90210", "Hidden Palms" and "CSI: Miami".
