During his visit, the British heartthrob also revealed that he wouldn't be alone on the stage when he performed at the 2017 BRIT Awards.

AceShowbiz - Ed Sheeran continues promoting his singles off the upcoming "Divide (division sign)" album. On Tuesday, February 21, the British singer dropped by Radio 1's Live Lounge to deliver live performances of his chart-topping singles including "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill" before giving a special cover of Little Mix's "Touch".

"I hope they don't fog up," he said before performing the cover. Donning a white tee, Ed delivered a stripped-down version of the dance-pop track while strumming his acoustic guitar. He was accompanied by his band and backing vocals, who added some harmonizing background vocals.

His "Touch" cover even got the seal of approval from the girls as they thanked the singer. "Yesssss @edsheeran smashed it! Thanks for doing #Touch x the girls x," so the group tweeted.

Prior to the performance, Ed revealed that he's a Mixer and went to the group's gig last year. "Can I say that the one concert I went to last year [was Little Mix]. I didn't go to any gigs and I was in Milan and I'm a Little Mix fan girl," he said. "I saw a really funny meme on The Lad Bible from a bloke who had tweeted me and said, 'Little Mix need to stop releasing songs before I go to their concert' because they have so many bangers."

In addition to the cover, Ed performed two of his love songs "Bloodstream" and "Thinking Out Loud" off his second studio album "x". His "Bloodstream" performance was pretty intense, while he went on melting his fans' hearts with beautiful ballad "Thinking Out Loud".

During his visit, the award-winning singer also dropped a very big hint that he wouldn't be performing at the 2017 BRIT Awards alone. "I've got two things dropping on Friday that are pretty interesting. One that gets debuted at the BRITs, which I think people will go a bit nuts for," Ed told the host, before adding, "It's something that I think nobody is expecting. I think it'll be decent. I've managed to keep it secret up until now, which is good. But tomorrow night, I think we're the penultimate act."
