Entertainment Earth has debuted a new set of action figures, one of which reveals the first look at Russell's character Ego, the father of Chris Pratt's Peter Quill.

AceShowbiz - Fans know that Kurt Russell will play Ego the Living Planet in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", but they have no clue about what will the character look like in the movie. Thanks to Entertainment Earth, fans now have got a first look at Ego the Living Planet in the form of action figure, which was debuted at Toy Fair.
The action figure sees the Marvel legend sporting gray hair and thick beard. Wearing a brown cape, Ego can be seen standing alongside his estranged son, Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord, who is portrayed by Chris Pratt in the movie.
Set to the backdrop of "Awesome Mixtape #2", Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" chronicles the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.
Scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on May 5, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" also stars Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Baby Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Michael Rooker as Yondu Udonta, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Chris Sullivan as Taserface, Sean Gunn as Kraglin and Sylvester Stallone as a member of the Nova Corps.
