AceShowbiz - It's no secret that Kristen Wiig will appear in multiple episodes of "The Last Man on Earth". And now FOX has released a first photo which gives fans a glimpse of Wiig's mysterious character on the post-apocalyptic comedy.
Wiig is seemingly going shopping as she enters one shop with a trolley. But unlike normal person who's going to shop, Wiig is seen wearing a big black plastic to cover herself, complete with a mask, goggles and also a pair of purple rubber gloves in the photo obtained by Entertainment Weekly.
According to FOX, the midseason premiere will take place in the first moments of the outbreak of the deadly virus. And it seems like Wiig is trying her best to avoid being infected by the virus so she creates her own hazardous materials suit.
The series marks her reunion with "Saturday Night Live" vet Will Forte. Wiig and Forte previously worked together in "MacGruber", which is a parody of action-adventure TV series "MacGyver". They also collaborated in a comedy film "The Brothers Solomon" back in 2007.
Other guest stars in the third season of the post-apocalyptic comedy series include Kenneth Choi who plays Lewis, a gay arborist from Seattle, and Mark Boone Junior, who portrays Patrick Brown, the first person Mike encounters after returning to Earth.
"The Last Man on Earth" returns with the second half of season 3 on Sunday, March 5 at 9:30 P.M. ET on FOX.
