The film will chronicle Brady's victory in Super Bowl LI as well as the controversial Deflategate debacle which caused the quarterback to be suspended for the first four game of the season.

AceShowbiz - A new book and feature film project about Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady are coming soon. Paul Tamasy and Eric Johnson, the Oscar-nominated duo behind "The Fighter", will pen the script alongside "Boston Strong" co-authors Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge, Deadline has reported.

The book and film will focus on Brady's come-from-behind victory in Super Bowl LI. The story will also include the New England Patriots' 2014 battle to overcome the Deflategate debacle, which caused Brady to be suspended for the first four games of the season, as well as his triumphant return to lead the Patriots to its fifth world championship.

The writers have already gathered some materials and sources from the Patriots locker room to provide a first-hand look at what went on behind the scenes in a Super Bowl that had everyone thrilled.

"When we're looking for stories, we're looking for there universal themes of overcoming odds and people using moments of adversity to inspire," said Wedge to Entertainment Weekly. "The game that we just saw a couple of weeks ago really encapsulates who that guy is." Wedge claimed, "It's made for a movie."

Sherman shared, "Starting on the football field, then with the drama behind it, going to the courtroom, and ending how it did, stories like that ultimately write themselves."

However, there's no word yet regarding who's going to portray Brady in the movie or when the book and the film will be released.
