AceShowbiz - The first performers at the upcoming iHeartRadio Music Awards are announced. Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran are confirmed to take the stage at the annual prize-giving event. They are expected to sing their new songs. She has just dropped a single called "Chained to the Rhythm" while he released two tracks "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill".
They are joined by The Chainsmokers, Shawn Mendes, Thomas Rhett, Noah Cyrus, Big Sean and Bruno Mars. Meanwhile, Ryan Seacrest is expected to return as a host. The show is airing Sunday, March 5 at 8 P.M. EST on TBS, TNT and truTV.
This year, Drake leads the pack with 12 nominations. The Chainsmokers or duo Drew Taggart and Alex Pall trail closely behind the rapper with 11 nods. The winners will be celebrated at an event taking place at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
