The video also features 'Infinity War' filmmakers who give intriguing insight about the movie's plot, including a hint that the Avengers will be completely unprepared when facing villain Thanos.

AceShowbiz - "Avengers: Infinity War" excites fans by releasing the first behind-the-scenes footage via its official Twitter account. Taken on January 23, the video features Robert Downey Jr., Tom Holland and Chris Pratt speaking on "Infinity War" set. They later share their thoughts on filming the movie.

Pratt, who will reprise his role as Star-Lord of "Guardians of the Galaxy", says, "It's actually pretty unbelievable." The Tony Stark depicter, Downey Jr., suggests that the filming will take a year. Holland finally confirms his upcoming appearance in "Infinity War", saying that the fact that he will play Spider-Man in the movie is just "mindblowing."

The video also teases the plot details. The Avengers are confirmed to team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man in the movie. As for the villain, producer Kevin Feige suggests that Thanos is the "biggest, the best, badass villain" Marvel has ever made. The Avengers will be completely unprepared to face him after the events of "Captain America: Civil War", in which Tony Stark's team clashed with Steve Rogers' (Chris Evans).

"The Avengers is basically a name with nobody in it," says screenwriter Christopher Markus. Co-director Joe Russo adds, "Tony senses this greater threat approaching, so he is doing everything in his power to keep the Earth safe."

Prior to the release of behind-the-scenes video, Downey Jr. took to Facebook Live to answer fans' questions about "Infinity War". Holland, who happened to be Downey Jr.'s cameraman during the Facebook Live, also came into the camera view. Directors Russo Brothers also appeared and Pratt popped out in the last part of the Facebook Live.

Besides Downey Jr, Pratt and Holland, other "Avengers: Infinity War" cast members include Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan and Dave Bautista. "Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage is also starring and is speculated to play MODOK, while Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role as Doctor Strange.

"Avengers: Infinity War" and its untitled sequel are planned to be filmed back-to-back, with Atlanta and Scotland as their settings. The third "Avengers" movie is set to hit U.S. theaters on May 4, 2018.
