The 'America's Got Talent' host claims his ex-wife is faking her relationship with the dancer only to add more buzz to her reality show.

AceShowbiz - Nick Cannon gave his two cents on his ex-wife Mariah Carey's romance with dancer Bryan Tanaka. The 36-year-old actor didn't think the relationship was real since he thought it was just a publicity stunt for Carey's reality show, "Mariah's World".
He opened up about the issue with Howard Stern while making an appearance on the shock jock's SiriusX radio show on Wednesday, February 8. "First of all, I think the whole reality show is fake. I'm a producer, so I know how [it works]. Like, you can't have a well-lit private conversation. Like, that s**t doesn't happen," Cannon said, before adding, "I don't buy none of that s**t."
The "Drumline: A New Beat" actor actually made an appearance in one of the episodes of "Mariah's World". He showed up only to celebrate his twin children's birthday party. "I actually came. It was a party, so I showed up to hang out with my kids and I was like, 'There's f**king cameras here. But all right, y'all do whatever you gotta do.' So that type of stuff doesn't bother me because, again, we're in it," Cannon shared. "This is the world that we're in, but when you start trying to pull a fast one on people, that s**t is silly."
The "America's Got Talent" host seemed disgusted by his former fling's "too staged" reality show as he told Stern he wouldn't watch it. "I don't even get into it. It feels like they wrote the story. That s**t is like a soap opera like 'the billionaire doesn't know, and here's the handsome young dancer,' " said Cannon.
Carey and Tanaka's relationship was captured on camera for season 1 of "Mariah's World". The series showed how the couple's friendship turned into something romantic after the Grammy winner's engagement to billionaire James Packer crumbled. The eight-part series concluded on Sunday, January 29.
