'Bad Boys for Life' is set to be released almost a year later than its original schedule, while 'Hotel Transylvania 3' moves up to summer 2018.

AceShowbiz - Sony Pictures has rescheduled several of its projects. Among them are "Bad Boys for Life" and "Hotel Transylvania 3". While "Bad Boys 3" is delayed far behind its previous schedule, "Hotel Transylvania 3" moves up to summer 2018.

"Bad Boys 3" initially was set to be released this year. Sony Pictures later pushed it back to January 2018 before rescheduling it to November 9, 2018. As a result, Sony may reschedule "Bad Boys 4" as well, which was originally set to be released on July 3, 2019. Report says that the rescheduling might stem from Will Smith's desire to do "Bad Boys 3" alongside another project, presumably Tim Burton's "Dumbo".

Meanwhile, good news comes from "Hotel Transylvania 3". According to Deadline, the third installment of the "Hotel Transylvania" animated movie series is set to be released two months ahead its original schedule. It was initially scheduled for September 21, 2018, but Sony Pictures has now decided to give it a summer release on July 13, 2018.

Will Smith will reprise his role as Detective Mike Lowrey in "Bad Boys for Life". Martin Lawrence is returning as Detective Marcus Burnett. Joe Carnahan will direct the film, while Jerry Bruckheimer is producing.

"Hotel Transylvania 3" will also feature returning cast members such as Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez and Andy Samberg. Sandler will executive produce and Genndy Tartakovsky is directing.
