The 'Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2' sneak peek offers new look at its characters, while the 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' promo shows the return of Orlando Bloom's Will Turner.

AceShowbiz - New sneak-peeks of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" were released during Super Bowl LI on Sunday, February 5. Each of them contains surprises which would delight the franchises' fans.

The first part of "Vol. 2" sneak-peek reveals the movie's main villain, a gold-drenched figure named Ayesha (played by Elizabeth Debicki). She asks the Guardians, "Just the hell do you think you are?" hinting that she's not afraid of them at all.

Returning characters such as Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper), Yondu (Michael Rooker), Nebula (Karen Gillan) and Baby Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel) are also featured. A new Guardians member Mantis (Pom Klementieff) is also introduced. The trailer has a hilariously unexpected ending as Mantis is hit by a huge fireball.

"Vol. 2" trailer is the latest Marvel movie previewed during the big game. Last year, it was "Captain America: Civil War" which got the same treatment. It later exploded on the web and earned 300 million views across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

Meanwhile, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" promo finally offers a look at Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow. While villain Salazar (Javier Bardem) is featured in the first part of the trailer, Captain Jack, whose face is fully covered with mud, pops out in the last part. Viewers were also surprised by a very brief appearance of Orlando Bloom, who is reprising his role as Will Turner. He appears at 1:02, with half of his face covered with barnacles.

"Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2" is set to hit U.S. theaters on May 2. "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is scheduled to be released shortly afterward, on May 26.
