Marking the production kick-off, co-director Chris Miller shares a cheeky set photo on Twitter along with a playful caption.

AceShowbiz - The filming of an untitled stand-alone Star Wars film II centering on Han Solo is officially underway. Chris Miller, the co-director of the standalone prequel starring Alden Ehrenreich as younger Han Solo, revealed the exciting news by sharing the very first set photo on his Twitter account.

Miller captioned the photo, "Han First Shot." It is a playful reference to one of the greatest and never-ending debates within "Star Wars" fans. They have been debating whether it was Han or Greedo who shot first in the 1977 original movie.

The photo also reveals the working title of the Han Solo standalone pic. They go with "Star Wars: Red Cup", which is a reference to Han Solo as classic red cups are also called solo cups. This follows the tradition of giving strange titles for "Star Wars" films during production. They did the same thing during the filming of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" by giving it "Space Bear" as the working title. Meanwhile, "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi" was shot under the working title "Blue Harvest".

Han Solo movie will take place before 1977's "Star Wars: A New Hope", during the early scoundrel days of Solo and Calrissian. No official plot has been released, but it has been reported that the story may revolve around how Han Solo becomes a smuggler.

Han Solo movie will also star Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian and Woody Harrelson as Solo's mentor. "Game of Thrones" star Emilia Clarke also has been tapped for the movie, though details of her role are still kept under wraps. Directed by Phil Lord and Miller, Han Solo movie is due on May 25, 2018 in U.S. theaters.
