'The Bachelor' Recap: Nick Viall Pits Corinne Against Taylor in a Date
TV

The two nemeses have a two-on-one date in a forest, which ends with one of them being sent home.

AceShowbiz - "The Bachelor" ended Corinne vs. Taylor feud in its latest episode which aired Monday, January 30, but the result might be not as you expected. This week's outing picked up where the last episode left off, after Taylor questioned Corinne's maturity and Corinne said she wanted to punch Taylor in the face. Corinne then took Nick Viall aside, telling him that Taylor's "not very nice" and "isn't here for the right reasons."

When it was time for the rose ceremony, both Corinne and Taylor got the roses, along with Alexis, Danielle M., Jaimi, Jasmine, Josephine, Rachel, Vanessa and Whitney. Danielle L., Kristina and Raven had already got roses from their dates, meaning that Astrid and Sarah were sent packing.

For the next dates, they headed down to New Orleans. Rachel got the one-on-one date. She and Nick spent the day exploring New Orleans, tasting local foods, including oysters and beignets. They also danced in a street parade. Their date continued with a romantic dinner, during which Rachel admitted, "I don't believe in fairytales, but I believe in today, and today was a fairytale." And that's how she got the rose.

Josephine, Kristina, Alexis, Raven, Jaimi, Vanessa, Danielle M., Whitney, Jasmine and Danielle L. were chosen for the group date, which sounded creepy as they were taken to a haunted house. They played with a Ouija board before the lights suddenly went off. When some of the ladies were exploring the house, Raven had a private time with Nick and she admitted that she "fell in love" with him. Despite her confession, Nick gave the group date rose to Danielle M.

Two women were left for the two-on-one date and they were none other than Corinne and Taylor. Their car ride to meet Nick in the bayou couldn't be more uncomfortable. The three of them rode a boat that took them to the middle of a forest, where they ran into voodoo practitioners.

When they had some alone time with Nick, the girls trashed each other again. Later, the girls fought again and their argument continued even after Nick joined them. Nick attempted to solve the matter once and for all, saying, "I think you both know after today how important it is for me to feel like I have that emotional connection with someone that I'm going to spend a life with. So, Corinne, will you accept this rose?"

As Nick and Corinne continued their date with a romantic dinner, Taylor was left in the forest. But Taylor's time on the show is not over yet. She returned to interrupt Nick and Corinne in the middle of their date.

"The Bachelor" returns with a new episode Monday, February 6 at 8 P.M. ET on ABC.
