Bruce Roberts has asked Madonna to rewrite and sing the lyrics of 'Enough Is Enough', a song he penned for Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer, to express disdain for Trump's controversial policies.

AceShowbiz - Madonna has reportedly been approached to record a protest song against President Donald Trump. According to TMZ, legendary songwriter Bruce Roberts has reached the Queen of Pop to record an anti-Trump anthem, using the chorus of "Enough is Enough", the song he wrote for Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer.

The site claimed that Roberts asked Madonna to rewrite and sing the lyrics of the song to express disdain for Trump's controversial policies, though sources said that Roberts didn't consider it as a "personal attack on Trump."

Trump blasted Madonna following her controversial statement about blowing up the White House. "Honestly, she's disgusting," he said during a chat with Fox News' Sean Hannity. "I think she hurt herself very badly. I think she hurt that whole cause. I thought what she said was disgraceful to our country." Meanwhile, former speaker of the House Newt Gingrich condemned the singer for being part of an "emerging left-wing fascism" and noted she "ought to be arrested."

Madonna caused upset with her expletive speech at Women's March in Washington, D.C. earlier this month. "I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House," she said, adding, "But I know this won't change anything. We cannot fall into despair. As the poet W.H. Auden once wrote on the eve of World War II, 'We must love one another or die.' I choose love. Are you with me?"
