AceShowbiz - After Nina Dobrev confirmed that she would be back for "The Vampire Diaries" series finale, first look at her return on the set has emerged. Series creator and producer Kevin Williamson took to Instagram to share a picture of him with the special guest star.
Even more interesting, the photo teases a reunion between exes Elena Gilbert (Dobrev) and Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) as the two actors are featured together with Williamson in the image. "Friday night with some old friends. @paulvedere @ninadobrev #tvdforever," he captioned it.
Star Candice Accola and executive producer Julie Plec and have also been sharing behind-the-scenes pictures from the filming of the series finale. They revealed that they had done filming at Caroline's (Accola) house and Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) bedroom.
On Friday, Plec teased an emotional scene as tweeting, "Sorry I couldn't live-tweet tonight, I was busy filming a scene that will break your goddamn heart. #TVD."

"The Vampire Diaries" series finale will air on Friday, March 10 at 8 P.M. ET on The CW.
