The 'Transformers' actor might have gone too far with his hater as he was arrested by NYPD officers after he grabbed a man's scarf and allegedly scratched him in the process.

AceShowbiz - Shia LaBeouf was hauled away in handcuff by NYPD officers on Wednesday night, January 25 from his round-the-clock webcam protest of President Donald Trump. TMZ reported that the arrest was made in the middle of Shia's "He will not divide us" live stream.

Police officers told the site that a man walked in front of a mounted camera and said something that pissed Shia. The actor then grabbed the man's scarf and allegedly scratched him in the process. Shia faces a misdemeanor assault charge.

Shia's marathon protest site has drawn crowds outside NYC's Museum of the Moving Image since Friday afternoon, January 20, the day Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States of America. NYPD has reportedly been in the scene since Monday, January 23.

Earlier this week, Shia confronted a man who approached the camera to say some white supremacist phrases. The actor quickly swooped in after the man sneakily said the number 14 and 88, which are significant to the fascist movement. Shia then repeatedly shouted, "He will not divide us," as the crowd got louder and louder.

The "Transformers" actor began the protest as a symbolic act in response to Trump's inauguration. He claimed that he would broadcast the event non-stop for the entire length of Trump's presidency. He also invited anyone to look into a camera to say the words "He will not divide us" as often as they'd like. The act is meant to show that no matter what your political beliefs, the Americans will not be split.
