The 'Finding Dory' star isn't too happy the animated film is not nominated for Oscars, and she jokingly makes fun of this year's Oscar nominees.

AceShowbiz - Ellen DeGeneres isn't too happy "Finding Dory" doesn't get Oscar nomination. DeGeneres, who once hosted an Oscar ceremony, jokingly tells "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" audience about her thoughts on "Finding Dory" and this year's Oscar nominees.

"Every year there are more snubs-and people are like, 'Oh no, movies should have been nominated and they weren't!' And unfortunately, 'Finding Dory' did not get nominated," says DeGeneres, who voiced Dory in the animated movie. "One thing that everyone is happy about is the best picture nominees are a lot more diverse that ever before," she adds, "This year they range from sad all the way to extremely depressing."

DeGeneres later jokes about "La La Land" which gets 14 nominations for Oscars. "It's a movie about an incredibly attractive young woman and a ridiculously handsome young man who find each other and become famous. It's a story that had to be told," she says.

She then adds, " 'La La Land' is tied with 'Titanic' for the most nominations. Those are two, I know, two very different movies. One has people spontaneously breaking in the song. The other one has a boat sinking in the middle of the ocean. One of them is my worst nightmare, the other is 'Titanic'," she says, followed by the audience's laughs.

This year's Oscar nominations for Best Animated Feature Film include "Moana", "Zootopia", "My Life as a Zucchini", "The Red Turtle" and "Kubo and the Two Strings". Despite not being nominated for Oscars, "Finding Dory" became one of a few movies released in 2016 which earned more than $1 billion worldwide.
