Is 'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Premiering in June?
TV

IMDb led fans to be believe that the new season of hit HBO series would debut this June.

AceShowbiz - Don't get too excited yet, "Game of Thrones" fans! IMDb recently updated its page to include the alleged premiere date for the show's season 7, but HBO actually has not set a date yet for the season 7 premiere of the hit series.

The site prematurely mentioned June 25, 2017 as the premiere date for the seventh season. However, it has since corrected the mistake and removed the alleged premiere date.

IMDb is prone to this kind of mistake since the information on the site is updated in a way similar to the information on Wikipedia, which means any user can make edits. Previously, prior to the season 5 premiere, the site listed Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark) as appearing in the season 5 finale in the role of a "Hooded Woman", but that didn't happen.

Filming on "Game of Thrones" season 7 is still underway in Iceland. Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner are among the returning actors.
