Stan looks unrecognizable as he joins Margot Robbie on the set of the biopic, while Carver is reportedly cast as Nancy Kerrigan.

AceShowbiz - After Margot Robbie, it's now Sebastian Stan's turn to shock us with drastic makeover for biopic "I, Tonya". Several photos of the movie featuring the actor as Harding's ex-husband, Jeff Gillooly, have surfaced online. The photos see him looking almost unrecognizable in 1990s look.

The "Captain America: Civil War" actor sported light-washed jeans and striped long-sleeved polo during the filming in Georgia on January 22. Stan also has grown some mustache for the role.

He was joined by his co-star Margot Robbie on the set. Unlike the previous set photos which showed Robbie sporting medium frizzy hair, the "Suicide Squad" actress was seen donning curly short hair in the new photo. She sported high-waisted red pants with a matching button down shirt.

Casting department has also made some progress. Deadline reports that the movie has finally found an actress to play Harding's rival, fellow figure skater Nancy Kerrigan, in "Timeless" star Caitlin Carver.

Also joining the cast is McKenna Grace. Grace will be portraying young Harding. The 10-year-old actress currently stars on ABC's "Designated Survivor" as Kiefer Sutherland's on-screen daughter. Her upcoming movies include "How to Be a Latin Lover", "Gifted" and "Amityville: The Awakening".

"I, Tonya" centers on the true story of former figure skater Tonya Harding. She and her ex-husband hired a man to break the leg of Harding's biggest rival Nancy Kerrigan during 1994's Winter Olympics in Norway. Ever since, Harding was banned from joining any competition. Meanwhile, Kerrigan managed to recover and took home the silver medal at the event that year.

The movie also stars Allison Janney, Paul Walter Hauser and Julianne Nicholson as Lavona Fay Golden (Harding's mother), Shawn Eckhardt and Diane Rawlinson (Harding's first skating coach) respectively. Directed by Craig Gillespie, the movie is written by Steven Rogers. "I, Tonya" is slated for a 2018 release, the same year the next Winter Olympics will be held in PyeongChang, South Korea.
