The Detroit rapper is in a contemplative mood and thinking about his career on the KeY Wane-produced track off his forthcoming album 'I Decided', which is set for release on February 3.

AceShowbiz - Big Sean is back with a new song "Halfway Off the Balcony" off his highly anticipated album "I Decided". The KeY Wane-produced track also features production from Amaire Johnson, who's worked with Sean on "Bounce Back", "One Man Can Change the World" and some tracks for Twenty88.

The newly released song finds the rapper in a contemplative mood and thinking about his career. "I'm the living proof that you don't need a master's just to be a masterpiece/ People passing faster than I'm passing weed/ My daddy tell me, 'Stay strong, son and be the man you have to be,' " he raps.

Sean also takes a moment to recognize things that really matter in life, by rapping, "Brrrr Paper on my phone line/ It's on my phone like fax for me, that's facts to me/ But I don't want it if it can't change s**t drastically, dramatically/ 'Cause actually, I realized time's the most valuable, actually/ So I'ma call my favorite girl and she gon' bring that a** for me."

"Halfway Off the Balcony" is Sean's third song from "I Decided", the follow-up to 2015's "Dark Sky Paradise". He previously released "Moves" and "Bounce Back", the latter of which climbed to No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week.

In a recent interview with Beats 1's Zane Lowe, the Detroit emcee talked about the inspiration and direction of the album as well as how the project came together. "This album, this is my snapshot of what I'm going through right now, what I'm feeling like," Sean said. " 'I Decided' means so many things. I feel like life is all about the decisions you make. This is what I decided. That's why I put a period on the end of it because this is definitive."

During the extensive conversation, Sean also revealed some of the collaborators featured on his upcoming album, including Jhene Aiko, The-Dream and Eminem. In regards to Kanye West, Sean said he "definitely had a presence" on the album as he helped Sean made several key changes on some tracks. "I Decided" is slated to drop on February 3, and it is now available for pre-order on iTunes.
