Ryan Murphy has optioned Jeffrey Toobin's book 'A Vast Conspiracy', which chronicles the entire Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky sex scandal, for future installment of the series.

AceShowbiz - "American Crime Story" isn't airing its second season yet, but executive producer Ryan Murphy has already set his sights on a source material for future installment of the award-winning series. After previously using Jeffrey Toobin's book "The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson" as a source for the first season, Murphy now has optioned another Toobin's book titled "A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President" for future season.

The book chronicles Bill Clinton's sex scandal and the roles of Monica Lewinsky and her colleague Linda Tripp, who secretly recorded Lewinsky's conversation about her alleged affair with the 42nd POTUS Bill Clinton. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Murphy and series producers are already meeting with actresses who potentially portray Lewinsky and Tripp.

"American Crime Story" season 2 titled "Katrina" is currently in the works. It is set in New Orleans and picks up in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The third season will be titled "Versace" and follows the 1997 murder of Gianni Versace in Miami.

Murphy is also to debut another FX anthology series "Feud", which is slated to premiere on Sunday, March 5. The 8-episode drama focuses on the backstage battle between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford during the production of their 1962 film "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?".
