AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has allegedly got dating advice from her idol Jennifer Aniston about her new romance with The Weeknd. A source says that the 47-year-old actress has reached out to the "Hands to Myself" hitmaker to ignore the haters.
"Jennifer has been one of Selena's biggest supporters," the source reveals to HollywoodLife.com. The "Office Christmas Party" star is said to have encouraged the 24-year-old singer "to follow her heart and ignore the haters."
"Jennifer thinks if anyone deserves to be happy, it's Selena," the alleged insider adds. "She knows Selena wouldn't hurt a fly and doesn't think she shouldn't hide her relationship with The Weeknd because of negative backlash."
Reps for both Selena and Aniston have yet to give any confirmation regarding the report, but according to Gossip Cop, the above story by HollywoodLife.com is fabricated. The story appears to be made up after Selena said in an interview two years ago that she got "maternal advice" from Aniston when they hung out once.
