The 'Love Yourself' singer believes his former fling only uses The Weeknd to promote her music since he knows Selena's habit of dating a person she wants to collaborate with.

AceShowbiz - Previously, Justin Bieber gave no comments when paparazzi asked him about his former lover Selena Gomez's new romance with The Weeknd. While he refused to give his comments in public, an insider has revealed Justin's two cents in his former fling's new love relationship.
The insider told TMZ that Justin smelled something fishy about the relationship. He does not think Selena and The Weeknd are really an item as the duo are apparently working on new music together.
Justin knows his ex is famous for dating men whom she wanted to collaborate with. He reportedly also notes whenever the songstress wanted to drop a new song, she would be spotted cozying up with big names to add more buzz to the promotion. Those facts lead Justin to conclude that the "Hands to Myself" singer only uses The Weeknd to promote her new project. The "Sorry" singer knows a steamy love story would make an effective marketing for any release.
The insider also added that the pop star was not worried at Selena dating The Weeknd because Justin was so sure the duo's relationship would not go any deeper.
Selena has received backlash on Instagram since her relationship with The Weeknd was revealed to public. The backlash sparked from the fact that The Weeknd once dated model Bella Hadid, a member of Taylor Swift's squad which Selena also belongs to.
Selena's comment section was filled with cruel comments calling her "snake"and "traitor" for dating a fellow squad member's ex-boyfriend. But Selena allegedly responded to this backlash by simply saying she was not close with the younger Hadid sister even though they belong to the same squad.
