AceShowbiz - A star-studded anti-Trump protest has been planned by filmmaker Michael Moore. Moore took to Twitter on Saturday, January 14 to say that he, Alec Baldwin and Mark Ruffalo would join forces with Mayor Bill de Blasio to protest Donald Trump outside his NYC hotel the night before the inauguration.
"Mark Ruffalo, Alec Baldwin & myself will be holding a massive rally in NYC in front of Trump International Hotel," the 62-year-old filmmaker wrote, adding that it would be held on Thursday, January 19 at 6 P.M.! "Come!" he urged his followers.

The filmmaker later retweeted an NBC News report that aside from New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, other big names like Rosie Perez and the Rev. Al Sharpton would also be joining in on the protest.

According to the Associated Press, Ruffalo said in a statement, "We are sending a message to Washington that we will fight, at every step, discrimination and harmful policies, today, tomorrow, and every day," adding that protesters planned "to protect the values we hold dear."
