The 'My Heart Will Go On' hitmaker is seen sitting on the bed, crying and reminiscing about her marriage to Angelil in a simple yet moving video she shared to honor her late husband.

AceShowbiz - A year has passed since Celine Dion's husband Rene Angelil died of throat cancer. On the one-year anniversary of his death, the 48-year-old diva took to Facebook to pay tribute to her late husband with a series of emotional videos including an a capella cover of Sia Furler's "My Love".

The simple yet moving video sees Dion tracing her hand along rows of family photographs in a candle-lit bedroom. When the camera pans out, the Canadian singer is seen sitting on the bed, crying and reminiscing about her marriage to Angelil as she is staring at a picture of them. The emotional clip ends with the singer kissing a dreamcatcher before gently hanging it on a hand ornament.

"My memory loves you, it asks about you all the time," Dion captioned the clip. "Especially today... One year later, I wish R.I.P. meant Return If Possible. Forever yours, Celine xx..."

Dion also shared a retrospective video filled with personal moments from Angelil's life. Set to an emotional song, the footage features photos from his childhood, a video of him playing hockey, photos from precious moments with his family, his wedding to Dion and intimate moments with loved ones.

"Today, January 14th, it's been a year since Rene left us," the singer captioned it. "He will always be in our hearts. -Team Celine [love emoji]."

Angelil, who was Dion's manager since she was 12, died at the age of 73 on January 14, 2016 in Henderson, Nevada. He married Dion in 1994 and they have three children, Rene-Charles and twins Eddy and Nelson. He remained her manager until 2014, before he stepped down due to his battle with throat cancer.

Last month, the "My Heart Will Go On" hitmaker opened up about spending her first Christmas without Angelil to Page Six. "I cannot just live on like, 'I lost my husband; my children have no father,' " she said. "I have to stand tall and strong because this is my way of living: Stand tall, be positive, pick your battles, do the best you can and to live for today, not for tomorrow, for today, and know nothing is perfect, not everything you want will happen."
