Billie Lourd Shares Picture With Carrie Fisher, Pays Emotional Tribute to Her
Celebrity

The 'Scream Queens' actress posted on Instagram a throwback photo of her and her mom, and captioned it with a quote from the late star.

AceShowbiz - Two weeks after losing her mom, Billie Lourd remembered Carrie Fisher in a touching Instagram post. On Wednesday, January 11, the "Scream Queens" actress took to the social media to post a throwback picture with her late mother and shared with the world the lessons she learned from the "Star Wars" actress.

The sepia-hued snap, taken when Lourd was still a little girl, featured her posing next to her mom in the back of a car. Donning furry bunny ears, she smiled at the camera alongside Fisher, who wore a white shirt underneath a black jacket and pants.

Lourd captioned it with a quote from her mother, "If my life weren't funny then it would just be true and that is unacceptable." She added, "Finding the funny might take a while but I learned from the best and her voice will forever be in my head and in my heart."

Fisher passed away at the age of 60 on December 27, four days after she suffered a heart attack during a flight from London to L.A. Her mom, Debbie Reynolds, died on the following day at the age of 84 shortly after rushed to the hospital due to stroke.

The two late icons were laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles last Friday. Fisher was cremated and some of her ashes were buried alongside Reynolds.

The emotional tribute is the second Instagram post by Lourd since the deaths of her mom and grandmother. Previously, she shared another throwback picture to thank fans for their support.
