The 'Hackshaw Ridge' actor locks lips with Colbert as he explains why he kissed Ryan Reynolds at the Golden Globe Awards.

AceShowbiz - Andrew Garfield addressed his Golden Globe viral moment with Ryan Reynolds when he visited "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on January 10. The actor did not only explain why he kissed Reynolds at the Sunday event, but also relived the moment by planting a kiss on host Stephen Colbert's lips.

"I just wanted Ryan to know that I loved him no matter whether he won or lost," Garfield explained the kiss with Reynolds, "I just wanted him to know that it doesn't matter (if you win or lose), it's how you play the game. He showed up, he gave his all, it doesn't change anything in my heart."

Colbert then asked Garfield, "And you're very comfortable with kissing another man?" to which the actor answered, "I don't even understand the question." He then leaned forward to get closer with the host, pulled him for a kiss, parted and kissed him again for the second time. Colbert was taken aback by Garfield's action as he could barely continue the interview and said, "What were we talking about? Um, so you're a very gentle lover, I'll start with that."

Garfield also talked about his kiss with Reynolds on "Live! with Kelly" on Wednesday. The actor revealed that he, Reynolds and Reynolds' wife Blake Lively came up with a plan of him kissing Reynolds if Reynolds won the award.

It turned out that the award went to Ryan Gosling, but Garfield still desperately wanted to kiss Reynolds so he just stuck with the plan. "And then he didn't win - I was most disappointed that I wasn't going to get to kiss him," he recalled, "So I said to him, 'Win or lose, we can both just do it.' Cause there was a camera on us - there was camera on Ryan for his response to the other Ryan winning. And we thought the camera could cut to that and it would be a funny little thing."
