TMZ has obtained Debbie Reynolds' death certificate that shows the official cause of the star's death.

AceShowbiz - When Debbie Reynolds passed away on December 28, her son Todd Fisher only said that his mom died out of stress and broken heart. But it's not until now that the official cause of death is revealed. TMZ claims to have obtained the late actress' death certificate.

Debbie's death certificate shows that the actress passed away from an intercerebral hemorrhage or a fatal stroke. It also lists hypertension as an underlying cause of the stroke and reveals that Debbie died after her blood vessel ruptured, causing a bleeding inside her brain.

Debbie died only one day after the death of her actress daughter, Carrie Fisher. Carrie suffered from a heart attack on a plane from London to Los Angeles. She was rushed to UCLA Medical center and was treated for 4 days before passing away on December 27 at the age of 60.

Carrie's half sisters, Tricia and Joely Fisher, were certain that Debbie would not survive Carrie's death as Joely said, "I knew if Carrie wasn't going to survive this, that Debbie would not. You knew it. You could see it in her face. She would not last without (Carrie) on the planet." Joely also revealed that Debbie kept asking for more time as she saw Carrie dying.

A joint funeral for Debbie and Carrie was held on Friday, January 6 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills. One day before the joint funeral, a private memorial service was also held in their neighboring house at the Beverly Hills and attended by celebrities such as Meryl Streep, George Lucas and Jamie Lee Curtis.
