After losing the Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy title to Gosling, Reynolds got a consolation prize in the form of a quick kiss from Garfield, who was sitting next to him.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Reynolds might have lost the Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy title, but he almost overshadowed Ryan Gosling's win when he suddenly shared a kiss with Andrew Garfield. The two hunks, who were seated next to each other, were seen locking lips while Gosling was making his way to the stage to accept his trophy.
The kiss was very quick. After Gosling was announced as the winner, Reynolds and Garfield grabbed each other's neck and made out in front of the former's wife Blake Lively, who burst into laughter before clapping for the "La La Land" actor.

The kiss quickly became one of the most-talked-about moments at the 2017 Golden Globes. Many viewers took to social media to express their excitement. "ryan reynolds lost the globe but got a kiss from andrew garfield so who's the real winner," one fan tweeted. "ryan reynolds and andrew garfield sharing a passionate kiss has extended my life expectancy by at least two years," another said.

While many couldn't stop talking about Reynolds and Garfield, Gosling made sure the world knew how much he loves his "lady" Eva Mendes as he delivered his swoon-worthy acceptance speech.
"I would like to try to thank one person properly and say while I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I've ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second, and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer," Gosling said.
"If she hadn't have taken all that on so that I could have this experience, it would surely be someone else up here other than me today. So sweetheart, thank you," he continued. "To my daughters, I love you. And if I may, I would like to dedicate this to the memory of [Eva Mendes'] brother, Juan Carlos Mendes."
