AceShowbiz - Odell Beckham Jr. went undercover as a Lyft driver to surprise users of the service. As part of the app's new campaign, the 24-year-old New York Giants star went unnoticed while driving around the Big Apple on Thursday, January 5.
As seen in a Lyft video, Odell dressed in a green, Nike track jacket and sported dark sunglasses. He rocked a grey beanie to cover his signature locks. "I've been driving Lyft for about three years now. I love New York," he said after a passenger got in the car.
The NFL player asked a male passenger about himself, before saying, "Grown-a** man - I'm not going to judge him. Always dancing all the time." He asked a female passenger, "You like football?" But it turned out she didn't understand how the game was played. "I don't really understand it either," Odell jokingly responded.
In the 4-minute video, he asked some die-hard fans about who their favorite players were. A female fan poked fun at his "crazy" hair by saying, "My brother said you may have taken his hairstyle." Odell responded, "Well, now you can tell him I had it first." Another female fan, meanwhile, almost broke down in tears after finding out it was him.
Odell revealed his true self after driving around New York a bit more. The passengers started shrieking with excitement and laughing at the fact that they didn't know it was him. He was seen taking selfies and hugging all of his passengers at the end of the video.
