Depp's lawyer, Laura Wasser, also says that the 30-year-old actress' move is 'a blatant attempt to extend her fifteen minutes of fame' as she asks to reopen the divorce settlement case.

AceShowbiz - The divorce battle between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is not done just yet. After the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star and his ex-wife came to a $7 million settlement back in August, a new report has emerged claiming that the 30-year-old actress has filed legal documents requesting for a bigger settlement.

TMZ has reported that Heard is now asking to reopen the divorce settlement case. Her request is just a desperate attempt to use Depp to stay famous, according to his lawyer, Laura Wasser. The "Justice League" actress' move is "a blatant attempt to extend her fifteen minutes of fame" and "an embarrassing grab for additional and unwarranted attorney's fees."

Depp previously agreed to pay Heard $7 million following their nasty split months ago. However, the Jack Sparrow depicter allegedly derailed the divorce settlement after Amber penned an open letter about domestic violence for Porter magazine's December issue.

Heard didn't mention the 54-year-old actor by his name, but it's clear whom she's referring to. "You are not alone," she wrote. "You may have suffered alone behind closed doors, but you are not alone. You need to know that."

"I want to remind you of your strength, a strength that has been multiplied by the number of women who stand silently behind you - a truth that allowed me to break down the doors I once found myself behind," she added, "I never felt anyone would or could rescue me, so naturally I resented the label of victim."
