The reigning Bachelor got to meet and mingle with 30 beautiful and smart ladies on the season 21 premiere Monday night before eliminating eight of them.

AceShowbiz - Nick Viall once again returns to "The Bachelor", this time joined by girls who vie for his heart. During the season 21 premiere on Monday night, January 2, he met all those 30 girls, who unexpectedly included a lady he once slept with.
But before then, viewers were treated to scenes of the reigning Bachelor going shirtless and taking a shower. He also listed his own flaws that he noticed after watching himself on TV, and got some words of wisdom from former Bachelors like Sean Lowe, Chris Soules and Ben Higgins.
Later, he met his suitors. Among the stand-outs were Rachel, an attorney from Dallas, Vanessa, special education teacher in Montreal who speaks three languages, Alexis the aspiring dolphin trainer from Secaucus, New Jersey who showed up in a shark costume, Taylor the mental health counselor from Seattle, Corrine who will likely be thin season's villain and Elizabeth a.k.a. Liz who already had sex with Nick before.
A doula from Las Vegas, Liz was the maid of honor at Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert's wedding in January 2016. The event was also attended by Nick, whom according to Liz asked for her number after their one night stand. But she decided not to give it to him so they never spoke again until now.
After Nick spent some time mingling with the women, Chris Harrison entered the room to hand over the first impression rose, causing Taylor's hart to fall into her a**. Corrine wasted no time in letting the other girls know that she wanted Nick. Just when he started talking to Vanessa, Corrine pulled him aside and planted a kiss on his mouth.
The first tears of the season came from Jasmine G., who thought Nick was too busy mingling with the other girls. Later that night, Nick also tried to convince Alexis that she was wearing a shark costume, not dolphin, and talk to Liz about why she refused to give him her number after their hookup.
He seemed to have fun with Danielle M., but in the end chose to give the first impression rose to another girl: Rachel. Nick said he was taken by her "aura" and she took the rose before they made out.
Other ladies who received roses that night and remain on the show included Vanessa, Danielle L's cleavage, Christen, Astrid, Corinne, Elizabeth W., Jasmine G., Raven, Kristina, Danielle M., Sarah, Josephine, Lacey, Taylor, Shark Lady, Hailey, Whitney, Dominique, Jaimi, Brittany and Liz.
It means, Olivia, Lauren, Briana, Jasmine B., Michelle, Ida Marie, Angela and Susannah were sent home.
