The 69-year-old British singer will reportedly perform 'Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me', his 1974 hit that he re-released as a duet with George in late 1991.

AceShowbiz - Following the tragic death of George Michael, a tribute concert is being planned by Dane Esther Rantzen for next year to celebrate the singer's life. But before then, as Metro reports, Sir Elton John will perform at George's funeral and he reportedly plans to sing "Don't Let the Sun Goes Down on Me".
The song was originally recorded in 1974 by Elton and he first performed a duet version of the song with George at Live Aid concert in 1985. The pair later sang it at George's Wembley Arena concert in 1991. The latter version was recorded and subsequently released at the end of 1991.
Elton and George were longtime friends and in the wake of George's death, he posted on Instagram a photo of the pair together and expressed his sympathy to George's family, friends and fans. "I am in deep shock. I have lost a beloved friend - the kindest, most generous soul and a brilliant artist. My heart goes out to his family, friends and all of his fans. @GeorgeMichael #RIP," so he wrote.
According to the same reports from Metro, George will have two ceremonies laying him to rest, with one being for family and close friends, and a larger event for fans. It is also believed that the star will be buried next to his mother Lesley in Highgate cemetery, North London.
George was tragically found dead by his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz at his Oxfordshire home on Christmas Day. The singer's publicist confirmed that he "passed away peacefully at home."
