The late-night show host will have a special 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' episode dedicated to the ABC dating show after the Nick Viall edition premieres.

AceShowbiz - Jimmy Kimmel joins the buzz of ABC's dating show franchise. The comedian will host a primetime special that airs January 2 at 10 P.M. E.T. right after the premiere of "The Bachelor" season 21 at 8 P.M. E.T. The special episode is dubbed "Jimmy Kimmel Live!: Here for the Right Reasons".

The new "Bachelor" will follow 30 women vying for Nick Viall's attention. He's a 36-year-old software sales executive from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He previously pursued Andi Dorfman on season 10 and then tried to charm Kaitlyn Bristowe on season 11, but he stopped short of getting the final rose in both seasons.

Now on his final shot at finding love on television, Viall told PEOPLE that he fell for multiple women. "Early on with so many women, you obviously don't know a lot of things about them but talking to all of them and wanting to make it meaningful to all of them is very physically taxing," he reasoned. "And then as time goes on, it becomes more emotionally taxing and less physically taxing. And you get to know these women, there's a level of respect. You're asking them to do things they've never been able to do and to face stressful situations and their fears."
