Hugh Jackman Shares New Color Photo of 'Logan'
Movie

The 'Wolverine' actor has shared the latest 'Logan' photo via his official Twitter account, this time not in black and white.

AceShowbiz - "Logan" photos have been mostly presented in grayscale tone, which suggests the somber and dark mood of the movie. But Hugh Jackman has just posted the movie's new image in color.

The photo shows bearded and aged Logan standing near a polished black car. Behind him is the background of dim yellow, blue and purple twilight. The picture's mood remains gloomy though, with Logan staring at something out-of-frame with tense look.

Previously, Jackman shared a grayscale image of Logan standing in the middle of the field while staring at nowhere. The absence of colors in the photo implies that the film will have melancholic air.

"Logan" will be the last installment of the Wolverine movie series. Set in year of 2024, "Logan" imagines a post-apocalyptic world. At that moment, Logan's healing factor starts to fail and it seems like he will start to think about mortality and the last era of mutants. But when a young mutant needs his help, he once again has to struggle despite his worsened condition.

"Logan" is preceded with "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" in 2009 and "The Wolverine" in 2013. Another character from "X-Men" universe who will be featured in "Logan" is Professor Charles Xavier, portrayed by Patrick Stewart. Boyd Holbrook, Dafne Keen, Doris Morgado, Stephen Merchant, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Richard E. Grant will also be featured in the film. The movie is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on March 3, 2017.
